Privacy policy
Loop Reports is built so that your report data stays on your computer. This page explains the few things that do leave your browser, and why.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Who we are
Loop Reports (loopreports.app) is operated by Burak Yamanlıca, self-employed (Hitit Tax Office, Ankara), Kuloğlu Sokak 10/16, Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye. For anything about your data, write to hello@loopreports.co.
The short version
The app runs in your browser. The figures, texts, images, Word and Excel files and PDFs you open are processed on your device. We do not run a database of your reports and we cannot see them.
We use no analytics, no advertising cookies and no tracking. A simple counter on our server only counts how often a few actions happen each day (for example “app opened”), without cookies, IP addresses or report content.
Only if you choose “Publish online” do we receive and host your finished report website, so that it can be public at its own address. Nothing else from your project is sent.
What stays on your device
The app keeps your project in your browser's storage so you can continue later: report data, the name you enter for the team features, the interface language and your licence confirmation. Project files, PDFs, websites and other files you download are saved on your computer.
You can remove this data at any time with “New report” in the app or by clearing your browser's site data.
What is sent, and why
Photo and video search: if you search for photos or for an opening video for your website, only the search words are sent through our server to Pixabay, Openverse or Pexels. The photos you choose are copied into your report. An opening video is not copied: the website plays it from Pexels' servers, so visitors' browsers connect to Pexels (which sees their IP address) when the website opens.
Email updates: if you sign up on our website, we store your email address to send updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Support: when you send a support request from the app or the help page, we receive what you write, your email address if you give one, the language and, only if you tick the box, technical details (browser, app version, storage use, licence status, report type and recent error messages). Your figures, texts, photos and files are never included. If you choose “Report it to support” after an app error, only the error message, its place in the code, the app version and the browser name are sent. Purpose: answering your request and fixing faults.
Support emails: if you give your email address, we send you a confirmation and a notice when there is an answer. These emails contain only the request number and a private link; what you wrote and our answer are never in the email and are read on our site.
Service providers
Netlify hosts the website, our small server functions (licence check, photo search, publishing, support) and the report websites you choose to publish. Like any web host it keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, for security.
Google Fonts provides the typefaces; your browser loads them from Google's servers, which see your IP address.
Pixabay, Openverse and Pexels provide the photo library and the opening videos.
Resend sends the support emails (request number and private link only).
ImprovMX forwards email sent to our address to our inbox.
These providers may process data outside Türkiye and the EU under their own safeguards.
How long we keep data
Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Hosting logs are kept by Netlify for a short period.
Support requests are kept for up to 12 months after they are closed and then deleted automatically. Error reports contain no personal data and are deleted once the fault is fixed.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Article 11) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use and receive a copy. Write to hello@loopreports.co. You can also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or to the data protection authority of your EU country.
Changes
We will update this page when the app changes how it handles data and show the date at the top.
